TDF Art Gallery is an artist-led creative space shaped by Grenadian artist Teddy Dwight Frederick and a growing community of artists, creatives, and cultural collaborators.
Located within The House Hotel, the gallery shares its walls and creative environment with the hotel, creating opportunities for art, hospitality, and culture to meet. Through collaborative cultural activities, exhibitions, conversations, and creative experiences, the relationship allows visitors, guests, artists, and the wider community to experience Grenadian creativity in a more intimate and accessible way.
What is TDF Art Gallery?
The gallery grew from a desire to create more room for artistic expression, cultural storytelling, and meaningful connection in Grenada. It reflects Teddy’s practice as an artist and creative collaborator, exploring identity, heritage, landscape, memory, and the everyday experiences that shape Caribbean life.
More than a traditional gallery, TDF Art Gallery is a cultural meeting place a “Vibes Gallery” where art, conversation, learning, hospitality, and creativity come together.
The space brings people into contact with paintings, exhibitions, workshops, and collaborative projects that encourage people to engage with art in different ways. Rather than seeing art as something simply placed on a wall, TDF Art Gallery approaches it as something living, something that can be experienced, discussed, shared, and continually reimagined.
A Creative Vision
Teddy Dwight Frederick is a Grenadian multidisciplinary artist and Caribbean creative whose practice moves between visual art, film, cultural storytelling, and community collaboration.
His creative journey developed through hands-on experience, independent exploration, and working closely with communities, artists, cultural practitioners, and institutions across the Caribbean and internationally. He later strengthened his artistic foundation through formal certification in Fine Art through the T. A. Marryshow Community College, under the University of Cambridge certification programme, bringing together practical experience, artistic instinct, and academic study.
His work is rooted in storytelling, identity, heritage, landscape, and the ways creative expression can connect people to their culture and to one another. Across his work in art, film, and creative development, Teddy approaches creativity not simply as a finished product, but as a tool for conversation, preservation, education, and community building.
Today, he works as an artist, Creative Consultant, and Art Director, collaborating with schools, cultural institutions, organizations, and communities to develop creative programmes, workshops, visual projects, and artistic experiences.
At the centre of his practice is a simple belief: creative spaces should give people permission to express themselves, tell their stories, and see their culture in new ways.
